IT’S PLANTING SEASON — BUT NOT FOR LONG! The nights are getting cooler, and soon some of those big summer-time construction projects will be winding down and making the last lunge across the finish line, so it’s time for spruce up! Just one last push for Old Sol and Mr. Cloud and their magic dance, so I=in the natural order of things, this means it’s the perfect time to rent a FINN Hydroseeder. With a FINN Consumables purchase, you’ll save 10% on rental of a FINN Hydroseeder! This deal runs from September through October 31, 2020.
We’re going BIGGER with the T120 hydroseeder from Finn
If you’ve been tuning into this blog over the years you’ve noticed that we’re a big fan of Finn hydroseeders. Finn has made hydroseeders longer than anyone in the business (since 1953 to be exact) and the advantages of hydroseeding outweigh just about every benefit of straw blankets or hand seeding.
We’ve had T75 and T90 seeders in our fleet for a long time, but now we’re upping our game with the T120, which is perfect for larger commercial seed installation and erosion control. Continue reading →
If our recent FINN open houses told us anything (see photos here!), it’s that people want to know more about bark blowers and hydroseeders. There are a ton of applications for these machines and we can’t wait to see more and more of them out in the field. We get asked a lot about what used FINN equipment we have, so we thought it would be nice to get them all in one place. Take a look:
Bark Blowers BB302
2012 BB302 bark blower with 1.5 cubic yard hopper, 4 inch hose and a 33.5 hp Kubota diesel engine. It’s got two hose sections: 100 feet and 50 feet.
From now until September 30th take advantage of HUGE rebates on hydroseeders
FINN just announced rebates on four of its most popular hydroseeder models, which means from now until September 30, 2013 you can get up to $2,000 OFF a new hydroseeder!*
The offer extends to the T60, T75, T90 and T120 models, which are the most popular models that we sell. These units have a capacity of 600 gallons (for the T60) all the way up to 1,180 gallons on the T120. That gives you options, so whether you’re working on small residential projects or larger jobs like roadside erosion control you can get the machine you need now at a really great price.
If you’re still not sure whether a hydroseeder is the right choice for your fleet, check out this video of our friends at Lewis University, who saved time, money and a lot of stress by renting a T75 hydroseeder for a recent project:
*Available rebates: $1,000 off on T60, $1,500 off on T75, $2,000 off on T90 & T120 models
Lewis University rented a FINN T75 hydroseeder from us to plant the seed for a cross-country athletic track that runs on the southwest perimeter of the campus. With the help of the hydroseeder and FINN mulch and additives, the job went as smooth as can be. We could tell you that they were pleased with the results, but why not hear it from the guy in charge of the project? See the before and after of Lewis’ project in the video below:
When you’re seeding on a slope it takes skill and knowledge to make sure you’re getting the best coverage possible. If you’ve done it before, you know you’ve got options when it comes to seed type and application method. Here in Illinois we see a lot of straw blankets, and while they get the job done in some cases, they definitely lack the complete coverage you can get with other methods. Hydroseeding is a far more effective way to seed and our experience with FINN products has us convinced that their hydroseeders deliver higher quality material more effectively with less man power. Read that sentence again, and now let’s break that down: Continue reading →
‘Tis the season for SEEDING! Skip the sod and dry-seeding this year and try out a FINN hydroseeder! Compared to hydroseeding, sod can be expensive and dry-seeding is less effective, so why not try out one of FINN’s impressive models? Continue reading →
