From there, he progressed to managing a number of service departments where he relished the opportunity to lead and mentor others. Like many individuals who are skilled with their hands, Dave grew up with a deep curiosity about how objects and machines functioned. It’s no surprise then that he fashioned a career in service repair; first in the truck industry and later on as a Construction Equipment Superintendent. That skillset will serve Dave well as he joins our Martin Implement team as an Assistant Service Manager for our Orland Park branch. Pairing his troubleshooting experience along with a commitment to streamline the repair process will undoubtedly result in satisfying turnaround times.

We’re Proud to Announce the Addition Tim Murphy to our Sales Team!

Tim works out of our South Elgin branch, replacing sales rep, Barry Hubscher, who returned to his native Maryland roots for a new opportunity as a construction project manager. Tim’s territory primarily encompasses eastern Kane County, northern DuPage, and the adjacent towns in Cook County. 

He has a well-rounded tenure in the equipment industry, with many years spent as a territory manager for Paladin Attachments along with a career start as a landscape construction supervisor. Tim is well-versed in identifying the best equipment for a user’s application and is very hands-on in terms of demonstrating and explaining the equipment. He understands the time-sensitive pressures of delivering equipment when needed and having that equipment perform on the job.

In today’s fast-paced environment, acquiring a piece of equipment can sometimes test a person’s patience. From analyzing specs to submitting paperwork, the process usually involves a bit of time investment to complete. As Martin Implement’s sales coordinator at our Orland Park branch, Mary DeVries aims to make the experience as seamless as possible. Getting all the necessary information upfront for credit applications and warranty registrations typically speeds the process. With her financial and administrative background, Mary has been serving our customers well in this regard since joining us a decade ago on 2008. Her helpfulness and thoroughness are cherished by our sales staff. Through her preparation, when it comes to closing a deal it’s usually as easy as dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s!
