Product Spotlight: The New Toro Dingo TXL 2000

STEP UP TO THE NEW TOP DOG

Dingo TXL 2000 with Telescoping arms. As Hawk Harrelson would say: S-T-R-E-T-C-H!

The Toro Dingo line is an all-time favorite here at Martin Implement.  This is a machine that’s so easy to use, and at the same time, so powerful and versatile, it’s hard to imagine what life was like before these doggies showed up in our lives. And now there’s a new leader of the pack, the DINGO TXL 2000.

S – T – R – E – T – C – H – !
There are two versions of the radial lift TXL 2000: the version pictured, with Telescoping Arms, has an incredible reach of just over 10 feet. (A 123.4″ hinge-pin height, to be exact). That means you can easily clear the side of a standard dump truck, or backfill behind a retaining wall. With a full 44” of telescoped reach, you can also completely unload a flat-bed truck from one side. The Non-Telescoping version is no slouch either: with a hinge-pin height of 98.6″and a dump height of 64.1″.  Either way, you…can…put it on the board: the new TXL 2000 takes the stand-up skid-steer category to new levels of productivity and versatility.

Nimble, powerful, adaptable, and so easy to jump on and use that you find yourself becoming attached to the things. YOU SURE CAN GET ATTACHED TO THESE DINGOS…
The stand-and-drive setup is always easy and efficient, and our customers have always loved the simple and intuitive controls. It’s a machine you’ll learn quickly and love to operate once you do. But it’s the other end of the machine where “attachment” truly becomes a thing of beauty.  Just a few possibilities:

Put a Toro Dingo 323 and Attachments on the Job

Toro Dingo 323 getting ready to go out

Our customer, a general contractor, does floor repair and tile work on commercial properties indoors. This encompasses floor demolition and removal in relatively confined spaces.

They now use a Toro Dingo 323 utility loader rubber tire unit equipped with a dual fuel system that switches between gas and a propane, which provides the versatility of working indoors or out. The narrow tires allow access through standard 36” doorways. The customer added a concrete breaker, backhoe, pallet forks, and a bucket to perform this type of work.

The Harley Power Box Rake: Trending Attachment?

The Harley rake is a great tool for soil preparation that lets you level uneven terrain in one pass. The roller also helps create a dimpled bed surface which aids in moisture retention. The Harley rake is one of the many attachments we carry for skid steer loaders and Toro Dingo compact utility loaders. The Toro Dingo rake has a 48-inch operating width and can angle up to 20 degrees in either direction, so it’s incredibly versatile and maneuverable. Rammer Hydraulic Breakers for Compact Utility Loaders

We equipped the Toro Dingo TX1000 with a model 355 small range breaker

Did you know Allied makes small range Rammer brand hammers for compact utility loaders, like the Toro Dingo? Rammer Hammers are hydraulically operated breakers that are ideal for concrete demolition of sidewalks, patios, driveways and streets.

The breaker works by repeatedly raising a steel piston and driving it down onto the head of a removable breaking tool. Use them on skid steers, compact track loaders, compact utility loaders, excavators, and backhoes that meet the necessary hydraulic and mechanical requirements. A rammer hammer hits hard and with the same power every time and that’s no matter how fast it goes; they’re known for their high frequency of hits. Continue reading

Sidewalk Clearance

Kubota RTV Snow Photo @ Millenium Park

Sidewalk Clearance.

We’re laying out our sidewalk clearing equipment on our virtual sidewalk for you. Ok, it’s more than just sidewalk clearing equipment…

Toro
The Toro Dingo is like a pocket knife out on the job site with all its attachments, and with the snowblower attachment it’s an excellent way to make your Dingo a year-round moneymaker. It’s the perfect width for clearing sidewalks and to get into tight spaces.

Honda
Honda HS720 and HS520 snowblowers are walk-behind wheeled models for easy maneuvering. These machines are a match for throwing snow in smaller areas like sidewalks or driveways. They come equipped with Honda engines so you’ll KNOW you won’t have trouble starting them. The special pricing on Honda snowblower models is still going on.

Grasshopper
The Grasshopper commercial zero turn mowers are known to be ideal for residential mowing and landscape contractors where mowing in, around and under obstacles is needed. These machines are versatile for snow removal solutions too, with the right attachment. Attachments include snow-throwers, dozer blades, rotary brooms or v-plows. They make a winter enclosure too, which is like a cab for the mower. You can get productivity out for your Grasshopper equipment in the winter too. Grasshopper has some videos on their site, so you can see their snow removal solutions in action.

Kubota
Cities, schools and park districts love the Kubota utility vehicles, but just about anyone can find a use for them.  It seems like everyone who uses an RTV comes away from it with good things to say – they’re easy to use and built to take a beating. Put a blade or a sweeper broom on a Kubota RTV or RTV-X, and you have a machine that keeps paths cleared.

Contact us if you have any questions on what you’ve seen in our sidewalk clearance.
