MASTERS OF MULTI-TASKING There are some machines that seem to “come out of the bullpen” day after day. Ready for anything. Nimble, powerful, adaptable, and so easy to jump on and use that you find yourself becoming attached to the things. That’s pretty much the whole plot with Toro Dingo lineup: the new TXL 2000, the TX1000 (wide and narrow), and the TX525 and TX427. The more you use them…the more uses you discover.
YOU SURE CAN GET ATTACHED TO THESE DINGOS… The stand-and-drive setup is always easy and efficient, and our customers have always loved the simple and intuitive controls. It’s a machine you’ll learn quickly and love to operate once you do. But it’s the other end of the machine where “attachment” truly becomes a thing of beauty. Just a few possibilities:
In this new series on Fully Equipped, we dive a little deeper into the benefits of some of our favorite labor-saving machines.
MULCHING MAKES IT BETTER Here’s the thing: the FECON BULL HOG mulchers can cut brush, stumps and trees up to 8 inches in diameter (cutting them down to ground level). Trees and brush truly get mulched –which means you eliminate the need to do a lot of follow-up work. Chain saws, chippers, and the people required to run them…all disappear from your job-costs, just like the BULL HOG erasing a gnarly stand of trees and tangled brushes.
RIGHT MODEL FOR THE JOB Fecon and Martin Implement offer BULL HOG models that can work beautifully when hooked up to a compact track loader (with high-flow hydraulics). We also carry their FMX BULL HOGS, which are designed to use when you have to have the greater reach of an excavator. Attaching these mulchers to tracked machines allow you to maneuver in more variable terrain than you can access with a PTO / 3 Point setup on a tractor. Check out the FMX50 in action on this video — you don’t want to try this with a tractor!
We hooked one up to a Kubota SVL95-2s high flow compact track loader to clear lots for new construction!
We get people calling from all over asking to rent the Fecon Mulcher attachment because it’s hard to find a mulcher that can tear up 8-inch trees while attached to a track loader. Those results plus portability make it an in-demand attachment. Due to their popularity, our Rental Department has worked up a new special on them. From right now until the end of February, rent a Fecon mulcher compact track loader combo for one day and get half off the second day!* Continue reading →
MB crusher powered by a New Holland L230 skid steer.
The MB-L crusher crushes all types of inert waste materials directly on site, solving the problem of having to dispose of demo materials by taking them to a dump. The crusher bucket works by leveraging the hydraulic system of the machine to which it’s fitted. The crusher bucket can be fit to excavators, skid loaders, loaders, and backhoes. Continue reading →
Fecon mulchers rule their class when it comes to brush clearing. These mulchers can cut brush, stumps and trees up to 8 inches in diameter (cutting them down to ground level) when hooked up to a high flow skid steer. They’re ideal for site prep, park trails and more. We added a Bull Hog mulcher with a drum-style configuration that has a smooth rotor surface to our rental fleet. It offers less resistance and uses less horsepower when processing wood material. Contact our rental department if you’re interested in a renting this mulcher or have questions. We’re here to help.

Fecon Bull Hog forestry mulchers rule their class when it comes to brush clearing. These mulchers can cut brush, stumps, and trees up to 8 inches in diameter (cutting them down to ground level) when hooked up to a high flow skid steer. Our 74-inch mulcher has a max flow of 45 gallons per minute and a mouth full of double carbide teeth that have no trouble getting through most wood material. The Bull Hog requires more hydraulic power than most attachments, so we hook it up to a compact track loader with enhanced high flow hydraulics. Continue reading →
Sometimes a bucket is all you need, but there are hundreds (if not thousands) of specialty attachments available for skid steers and compact track loaders. We carry an extensive inventory of go-to attachments like trenchers, grapple buckets, tillers, and brooms – tools that you use often on your projects. Our standard duty rotary cutters are designed to clear light to medium density brush and hardwoods up to approximately 3″ in diameter. Powered by a skid steer or compact track loader, with cutting widths of 60 inches of 72 inches, they make quick work of site preparation jobs.
The Harley rake is a great tool for soil preparation that lets you level uneven terrain in one pass. The roller also helps create a dimpled bed surface which aids in moisture retention. The Harley rake is one of the many attachments we carry for skid steer loaders and Toro Dingo compact utility loaders. The Toro Dingo rake has a 48-inch operating width and can angle up to 20 degrees in either direction, so it’s incredibly versatile and maneuverable. Check it out:
