Chicagoland got its first measurable amount of snow on November 10, after a trace in October. That gets us thinking about the winter snow forecasts for our region. Even though today it might be warm, the classic fave Farmer’s Almanac says for 2016/17, winter is back and to look for snow and cold conditions in the Midwest before the season officially begins. Some reports indicate snow could arrive as early as Halloween.
