It’s not unusual for our service department to work on Ford tractors as old as 1939—there are still a lot of them out there! But it’s less common for us to repair vintage skid steer loaders, so when this 1975 New Holland L775 arrived recently it gave an opportunity to reflect on the innovations that New Holland introduced with their L35 model back in 1972.
It’s a brand new year, and we’re excited because last week we received the first of our Kubota skid steer loaders, and it’s an SSV65. The SSV Series skid loaders are new for Kubota and new to us. They’re powered by a dependable and durable Kubota engine.
Top features are:
Rugged loader arm design with long reach and high bucket hinge pin placed for maximum height clearance
Roomy wide cab
Standard two-speed travel
Easy access for maintenance checks and greasing
Essential SSV65 specs:
64.0 engine gross horsepower Kubota engine
1950 lbs. rated operating capacity (50% of tipping load)
4839 lb. bucket breakout force
6790 lb. operating weight
