2018 Section 179 and Bonus Depreciation Updates

dollar-943737_1920With the passage and signing into law of H.R.1, also know as The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on January 2nd, 2018, the deduction limit for Section 179 increased to $1,000,000 for 2018 and beyond. The limit on equipment purchases increased to $2.5 million. Also, the bonus depreciation is 100% through 2022. The bonus depreciation also now includes used equipment. Continue reading

Meet the Martins is a chance for our friends and customers to get to know our company a little better. It serves as a means of putting a face to our organization. In this segment, we’ll head over to our accounting department and meet Liz Antonaci.

From our school days, we all tend to remember that person who had a head for numbers. Fortunately at Martin Implement, we have one of those individuals handling our books. With a wealth of knowledge and accounting background, Liz started at our dealership in 2008 and facilitated the transition from a retiring Jerry Crosby. She keeps our company in balance in any number of ways; from reconciling reports and statements to lending a hand to all departments in the organization. Her calm demeanor serves both our staff and customers well. Being accustomed to working under deadlines, Liz consistently delivers timely and accurate results.
