Martin Implement Sales
was founded in 1945, by Walter Martin,
who opened it as a farm implement dealership. In 1950, he sold the business to Homer Brethauer and
Walter Peterson, who hired Art Novak as
a mechanic that same
year. Upon Mr. Peterson's departure in 1957,
Art and Homer struck up a new partnership. That association lasted until 1964, at which time Art purchased
the remaining portion of the dealership. Subsequently, Art
brought his three sons, Tom, Bob & Bruce, into the business.
Longtime employee, Steve Martin, was added to the ownership
group in 1994 and currently functions as the firm's general
manager. Art remained active in the dealership until his passing
in 2002.
With a workforce of 37 employees strong,
comprising over 500 years of cumulative tenure,
Martin Implement Sales possesses the experience and
dedication that is needed to provide its customers with
the highest level of service and reliability.
